October Wine Party - Wines of Oregon and Washington state

Join us for our October al fresco (maybe) Wine Party in the courtyard at the Priory Hotel. Our wine host is new to the Priory stage, David Escobar-Martin of Vintage Imports. As always, wines will be paired with three savory courses from Executive Chefs Pete Phillipy and Mike Henney and a dessert course from Executive Chef Jim Lazeration. Our Wine Theme is:
North of California **Exploring the developing wine regions of Oregon and Washington**
Not usually drawing the same crowds to their wineries as ones in Napa and Sonoma, wineries in Oregon and Washington state have been experimenting with really unique and interesting wines over the past few decades. Many of these wines are organic certified, According to David, "these wines are all really unique and on the cutting edge of where I think the two states will be in the next ten years." The wines:
Pinot Gris, Rascal - Umpqua Valley & Willamette Valley, Oregon
Pinot Noir, Duck Pond Cellars - Willamette Valley, Oregon
Red Blend, Rasa Vineyards "Occam's Razor" - Columbia Valley, Washington
Riesling, Hyatt Vineyards - Rattlesnake Hills, Columbia Valley, Washington
