The Grand Hall
It's impossible to fully appreciate, in photos, the grandeur and imposing physical space that is Pittsburgh's Grand Hall. It really must be seen in person to be believed. Steeped in history, it's a museum, a Pittsburgh landmark, and an event facility all in one. Built in 1854 as St. Mary's German Catholic Church, it's an architectural wonder offering over 6000 square feet of awe-inspiring banquet space.
From the priceless stained glass, the rolling barrel vaults and arches, the massive supporting columns topped with gold-leafed Corinthian capitals, to the intricate, gold-plated stencil-work gracing the ceiling, it never fails to create a jaw-dropping first impression.
In a practical sense, the altar is now an elevated stage - perfect for a band, presentation, or large bridal party. There is a full-service built-in bar and room for temporary bars if the size of the event warrants. The balcony, which overlooks the entire hall, can be used as a VIP room for special events or as a private staging/VIP area for a wedding party before being announced into the room.

The Refectory and Chapter House Meeting Rooms
One of our strengths is he versatility we can offer. The Chapter House and Refectory meeting rooms offer a smaller more intimate setting for corporate gatherings, retreats and showers.
In addition, we can provide complete food and beverage service – from continental breakfast, to sit down luncheons, to buffets, to deli buffets to simple sandwiches and soup – for every meal of the day.
The adjacent Priory Hotel offers 42 elegant guest rooms, mixing old world charm with all of the first-class amenities you would expect for the business traveler, including complimentary Wi-Fi, Fitness Center, and guest computer with Internet access.
