Perfection. On the day of a wedding, nothing short of it will suffice. For the owners and staff of the Grand Hall, this is more than a slogan. It is a philosophy, a way of life. They understand that for each client there is one wedding day, and only one chance to get things right.
At the Grand Hall, you can be assured that your wedding reception won’t get lost in the shuffle. There is no maze of ballrooms at the Grand Hall; your reception won’t be sandwiched in between a Cub Scout dinner and a Loyal Order of Water Buffalo meeting, with a harried banquet manager trying to juggle multiple events. The Grand Hall has one banquet space. You will be attended to by an event manager overseeing only your reception; the chefs, servers, kitchen staff, and valets will have one focus and one focus only – ensuring that you and your friends and family have a fun, worry-free and memorable day and evening.
At your reception, no guest want for anything. The Grand Hall assigns one server to only two tables; most banquet facilities assign a server to at least three tables, and frequently four. The head table – first among equals – has its own server assigned. Most important, the bride and groom have their own bridal butler assigned to assure that they want for nothing during their event.
Importantly, the essence of a well-run wedding reception is planning. The Grand Hall’s seasoned event staff will work with you and your family members from Day One to ensure that every base is covered and that no aspect of your special day is left to chance.
Food at the Grand Hall is a top priority. Chefs Pete Phillipy and Michael Henney, associated with the Grand Hall for over ten years, prepare the food for every event. Their ingredients are fresh, and all of the food is prepared specifically for you and your guests. It is this single-minded devotion to our guests’ gustatory satisfaction that consistently sets the Grand Hall’s food quality apart from its competition.
The look of the Grand Hall, set for a wedding, is unparalleled. Crisp damask linens hang gracefully over the oval tables; shining silverware and china are perfectly arranged, with neatly folded linen napkins centering each place setting. The rolling barrel vaults of the ceiling are back-lit by strategically placed lights, while other lamps highlight the gold-leaf stencil work gracing the soaring ceilings. At dusk, sunlight diffuses in multiple colors through the massive stained glass windows, creating a rosy glow.
You have only one wedding day. The Grand Hall’s pledge is that the space, staff and chefs are at your complete service to ensure that it is the one that fulfills your dreams.
